Asst. Mehmet Ali ÜSTÜNER Areas of Expertise:Control Theory and Applications, Renewable Energy Systems, Embedded Systems Date of Leaving:May 14, 2025 Reason for Leaving:Death Curriculum Vitae: Mehmet Ali ÜSTÜNER was born in Gaziantep in 1988. He completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Gaziantep University in 2012. In 2012, he began working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Manisa Celal Bayar University. He received his master’s degree in 2016 and his doctorate in 2023 from the same department. He was appointed Assistant Professor in 2025. He has published numerous works in national and international journals, conferences, and books. Our professor, beloved by his colleagues and students, was seriously injured on May 10, 2025, when an oncoming vehicle changed lanes and struck his car, which he and his wife were traveling in. He passed away on Wednesday, May 14. Following funeral prayers held on our campus and in his hometown, he was buried in the Gaziantep Asri Cemetery. |
